WindowsでTelnet

久々に使ってみると、意外とハマるもの。
WindowsXPでtelnetサーバを起動して、別のWindowsマシンからtelnetコマンドで接続すると、ダメだった。

Access Denied: Specified user is not a member of TelnetClients group.
Server administrator must add this user to the above group.

Telnet Server has closed the connection

なんだと…。
teratermだと特に問題ない(といいつつ、なぜか遅いのだけど)ので、Windowsのtelnetクライアントの問題だと思ったら、NTLM認証がデフォルトで有効なのか。なんか昔も調べた記憶があるな…。

unset NTLM

として、回避。Windowsのクライアントは、teratermに比べて、快適。
